Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play?

Drag to aim and release to drop celestial objects into the arena. When two objects of the same type collide, they merge into the next tier. Chain merges together quickly to build combos and multiply your score.

What are the tiers?

There are 11 celestial tiers: Dust, Asteroid, Ice Rock, Molten World, Moon, Planet, Slime World, Gas Giant, Star, Storm World, and Black Hole. Only the first four tiers spawn as droppable pieces — the rest must be created through merging.

How does the game end?

If any object stays above the danger line (the dashed red line near the top) for more than 2 seconds, the game is over.

How do combos work?

When you trigger a second merge within 1 second of the previous one, a combo chain starts. Each step adds a 25% bonus to your score. Keep the merges coming to maximize your multiplier.

Can I play on Apple TV?

Yes. Cosmic Merge is a universal app that supports iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. On Apple TV, use the Siri Remote to aim and drop objects.

Troubleshooting

• No sound: Check that your device isn't in silent mode, and verify that Sound and Music are enabled in the in-game settings (gear icon).
• Visuals look wrong after resuming: This is rare, but if it happens, close and reopen the app. We've addressed this in the latest update.
• Game Center not connecting: Make sure you're signed into Game Center in your device's Settings app.
